Being arrested and brought at the county jail does not get better with time. Initially after the booking process is completed, defendants are transferred a holding cell until they have had the opportunity to go before a judge. This is called an arraignment. A bail bond is a form of a guarantee that is given for the pre-trial release of an accused.
